At Foundation KPN, as an extension of KPN Safety Solutions’ corporate social responsibility, we understand that protecting lives is a mission that goes beyond the industrial sector. Our commitment is to support the communities and the heroes who face the most challenging emergencies. On this occasion, our focus was on strengthening those on the front lines of combating the wildfires that affected several regions of Colombia during the first quarter of 2024.
United to Protect in Critical Moments
Recognizing the hard work of emergency teams, Foundation KPN made significant donations to two prominent organizations leading efforts in tackling these natural disasters:
- Donation of KPN FORCE protective gloves to the PONALSAR group of Antioquia: PONALSAR, a specialized unit supporting emergencies in the department, received gloves from our KPN FORCE line, developed with advanced technology to offer maximum protection under extreme conditions. These gloves not only enhance the safety of responders but also improve their performance in high-risk tasks, such as fighting wildfires.
- Donation of 23 pairs of forest boots to the Cali Fire Department, Valle del Cauca: Understanding the importance of proper equipment to face emergencies, we delivered 23 pairs of high-resistance forest boots to the central brigade station of the Cali Fire Department, located on Av. Las Américas. These boots are designed to provide durability, comfort, and safety even on the most challenging terrains. The firefighters expressed their gratitude for this contribution, emphasizing how it strengthens their ability to protect lives and mitigate the impacts of fires.
