December 2025 was a special moment for us to pause, look around, and recognize those who, day after day, give their effort, their time, and often their own safety to save lives. Through the KPN Foundation and KPN Safety, we had the opportunity to express this recognition through a simple yet deeply meaningful gesture.
With great affection and respect, we donated a microwave oven to the Bello Fire Department as a token of appreciation for their tireless work in serving the community. We know that spaces for rest and togetherness are also essential for those who face demanding shifts and high-risk situations, and we wanted to contribute to their daily well-being.
Subsequently, the Bello Fire Department leadership raffled the microwave among the crew members as part of a year-end prize, making it a symbol of recognition for their commitment, discipline, and vocation. Beyond the object itself, what was truly valuable was the message: their work does not go unnoticed and is profoundly valued.
For us, the Bello Fire Department represents much more than an emergency response institution. It represents bravery, solidarity, and humanity. Every intervention, every shift, and every effort to protect the lives and property of the community deserves our respect and admiration. We know that behind every uniform, there are committed individuals, families waiting for them, and a vocation that knows no schedules.
This action reaffirms our commitment as the KPN Foundation and KPN Safety to continue supporting initiatives that recognize those who make a difference through service.
