At Foundation KPN, we firmly believe that safety and protection know no boundaries. Our mission, as the corporate social responsibility arm of KPN Safety Solutions, goes beyond the business realm: we are committed to the well-being of communities and supporting those who dedicate their lives to protecting our environment.
This time, we turn our attention to Chiquitanía, a region in Bolivia that has been facing a devastating wave of wildfires in recent months. The magnitude of this environmental crisis has put not only local ecosystems at risk, but also human and animal lives. However, amidst these adversities, the community fire brigades of Guarayos and Monte Verde Río Blanco have emerged as true heroes.
Equipping the Guardians of Nature
Aware of the challenges these brave firefighters face, we organized, through Foundation KPN, the delivery of essential equipment to strengthen their response capacity. During this initiative, we donated:
– 60 overalls, leather gloves, helmets, and boots to the Guarayos community fire brigade. – 30 additional overalls for the Monte Verde Río Blanco community firefighters.
Each of these items was carefully selected to ensure functionality and durability in the harsh conditions faced during wildfire combat.

The donation was not just aimed at providing tools but also at sending a clear message: you are not alone in this fight. We recognize the importance of your work in protecting the forests of Chiquitanía, a vital ecosystem for the environmental balance of Bolivia and the entire region.
